Song Information

Inclusion and anti-bullying messages are needed now more than ever. In this activity, we talk about the need for kind words and the effect that bullying can have on our hearts. With a simple piece of paper and a goal to unite and include, we can teach children the beauty of friendship and kindness. Numbers Game is a playful song for all age groups that reaches a deeper level than not being a bully but a lesson in reaching out to and welcoming all people and what makes them who they are.

Supplies Needed

  • Scissors
  • Paper

Directions

  1. Cut out a heart
  2. Wrinkle up the piece of paper as you talk about bullying
  3. Open the heart up and start to smooth it out while talking about kindness
  4. Remind them that the wrinkles aren’t gone forever, just repaired like our heart has a lasting effect when not nice words are shared.
