Creating Engagement

Published by Diana Crawford on: Jun 03, 2019 — Music Therapy

Research has shown consistently that music is a powerful tool in supporting the development of young children. During a well-crafted music therapy session, board-certified therapists can address motor, language, speech, cognitive and emotional expression. One of the best things is that we can meet these goals with a medium that naturally encourages creative play! Music creates a world of play and connection that gives opportunities for non-verbal expression, creativity, and awareness of yourself and others. These are lifelong skills that are the building blocks of development. KidLinks is committed to music therapy and making this a tangible possibility for children in our clinic and children we touch through our online platform.
